“Beton Vadon” (Concrete Jungle) is a board game about animals living in Hungary’s capital city, Budapest.
The goal of this project is to emphasize that there is no sharp limit between “city” and “wilderness”. The “wilderness” is living with us, among us, in the cities.
I decided to implement my idea in the form of a game, to help making it easier for the players to learn about a subject so big and far-reaching. While playing, they can learn about animals in the city, their characteristics, their habitats, their looks, their weird things…
My goals is that if the players take a walk in the city after playing thi game, they will be able to identify the animals, be astounded by them, and through this experience, be more respectful to the nature.
